CB’s protégé Sevyn Streeter slows down on her second single, “It Won’t Stop.” The singer/songwriter has been gaining traction with her first single, ” I Like It,” and winning fans over at 106 and Park.
The track, produced by Diplo and the Picard Brothers, is a cruising, chill record, similar to Aaliyah’s “Rock the Boat,” which Sevyn references in the song. MTV featured the track as one of the must-hear pop songs of the week.
Signed to CBE/Atlantic Records, she’s written countless hits for many R&B artists, including Alicia Keys, Estelle, Brandy, and Kelly Rowland.
Expect her debut album some time in November 2013.
